I guess since I am officially up and running with my blog and my social media, I should explain the story behind it all.

I’ve always considered creating a blog but just never followed through. After going through some rough times at college, I decided that even if my blog never became successful at least I would have an outlet to talk about my frustrations. I also thought that even if my blog could help just one person that it would certainly be an accomplishment for me so there was no point in not trying.

When I finally put everything into motion, the hardest part was figuring out a name. It had to be catchy and creative, yet also unique to me as a person. I went through so many ideas in my head before coming anywhere close to this one.

Right before the start of summer 2018, I got my second tattoo. I was depressed and struggling, and needed a reminder of why I keep moving forward despite everything going on.

Ever since I was very little, I’ve been completely and utterly obsessed with Winnie The Pooh. He was my first friend and I still consider him that today. Winnie The Pooh has gotten me through some rough times and I’m truly not embarrassed to say it. When the 2018 movie Christopher Robin came out, I bawled throughout the entire movie. It was my childhood come to life and everything I ever imagined it would. Hearing Jim Cummings voice through Winnie The Pooh now in a live action film, the same voice I had heard so many times before, was such an amazing experience for me.

Obviously, I got my tattoo before the movie came out so it was not directly related to that.

My favorite A.A. Milne quote has always and will forever be:

“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re Braver than you believe, and Stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

So I got it written permanently on my skin as a reminder that I am Braver, Stronger, and Smarter than I realize. I decided to name my blog Braver.Stronger.Smarter as a reminder to everyone that no matter how hard life may be right now, you are Braver Stronger and Smarter than you realize. No matter what, you are gonna make it through. You are gonna be okay.
